This route is from Molloy's book Day and Overnight Hikes in the Shenandoah National Park - I was disappointed to finish it in 2 1/2 hours (including photo stops and a leisurely lunch) since his book gives it a high difficulty rating and a time of 3:45. Ah well, it was a nice little escape anyway.
I did the loop counterclockwise. 5.8 miles and 1500 ft. climbing.
